Due to continued expansion with the John Deere franchise we will be opening a new depot in the Perth area in Summer 2020. We therefore have requirements for the following positions.
SALES
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a good all round knowledge of agricultural machinery. You must have the ability to converse with customers on all aspects of machinery and to demonstrate our products. Previous agricultural sales experience would be advantageous. Full product training will be given, along with the opportunity to sell John Deere equipment. We also hold franchises for other leading brands.
SERVICE MANAGER
This is an office management position reporting directly to the senior management. The successful applicant should be a fully qualified Agricultural Service Technician with several years experience working with agricultural equipment. You will have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with our customers and suppliers. We require the individual to have strong leadership skills to lead a team of technicians and to deliver high quality service to our customers.
AGRICULTURAL TECHNICIANS
We are looking for trained service technicians that are self motivated, capable of working under their own initiative as well as part of a team. Some John Deere knowledge would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. You must be fully converse with all modern agricultural machinery and technology within the industry. The opportunity to work overtime during the seasonal peaks will be available.
DEPOT PARTS MANAGER
We require a Depot Parts Manager who will report directly to our Group Parts Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day parts stocking levels for the depot. The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the agricultural industry and the customer base we serve. As this is a customer orientated position good communication skills, verbal, written, and computer, are essential. You will be working as part of a team that prides itself on supplying the best parts backup in the industry. Overtime opportunities will be available during seasonal peaks.
PARTS ASSISTANT
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of the agricultural industry and the customer base that we serve. As this is a customer orientated position good communication skills are essential, as well as being computer literate. You will also be responsible for aiding our service department.
PRECISION AG/FARMSIGHT PRODUCT SUPPORT
This is an important position in assisting the sales department with integrated farm solutions, installation, and demonstration of John Deere Precision Ag products. You will have a good knowledge of all modern farming practices and be able to liaise with and advise customers of the correct solutions. This is the ideal position for someone with good practical knowledge looking for a career within the agricultural machinery supply industry.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
We are looking for someone to undertake general administration activities which will also include processing time sheets, invoicing, and sales ledger work for the depot. You will be computer literate but training will be provided for the systems we use. You will also have a friendly telephone manner for answering and directing telephone calls.
